If you are the victim of Domestic Abuse, I will assist you in obtaining an Order Of Protection on behalf of yourself and/or your children.
There are two types of divorces - Contested
and Uncontested. A Contested Divorce means that you and your spouse cannot agree to the terms of your divorce and you need an attorney to negotiate on your behalf.
Uncontested Divorce means you and your spouse are in agreement on all the specific issues and you simply wish to dissolve your marriage. In New York State you no longer need to file a particular “ground” for a divorce. You can now obtain a No Fault Divorce.
Additionally, you may already have a signed Separation or Property Agreement and you and your spouse have lived apart under this agreement for at least one year. In this instance, you may file a Conversion Divorce which converts the agreement into a divorce without alleging any “grounds.”
Once your divorce is finalized, I can also help with those post-divorce matters which are so important to your financial security; Property Transfers, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders and New Wills.
You will received prompt, professional, and individualized service. My extensive experience in Divorce and Family Law gives my client's confidence they are receiving experienced and professional representation.
